All great new ventures start with a great idea. Since we are only at the dawn of the B Corp movement, what better way to get started than to encourage idea generation?

We started the ToVenture B Good Pitch Competition to do just that – foster, award, and build on 60 second B Corp pitches! We believe that a simple 60-second pitch which clearly articulates the core idea of a B Corp venture can be the spark and seed leading to a greater and better future for all!

The Prizes

For each competition, a panel of judges will rank each pitch in the following categories:

    • Problem identification
    • Proposed solution
    • Social Impact
    • Financial Sustainability
    • Investability

We will award at least 1 grand prize and multiple runner-up prizes.

Post-Competition

Ideas are only the start, so we will also be there to further support good ideas after the competition. Each competitor is also invited to join our entrepreneurial education, support, and mentoring program after the competition to further develop their ideas. Through the structured program, it is our hope that participants will be able to assess and improve the feasibility of their ideas and develop materials necessary to carry out their ideas into reality. Our partners will also make investment offers and facilitate financing for those ideas ready to progress to the operational stage.

No Experience Necessary

We believe that great ideas can come from anyone, not just people with business experiences. As such, we will help anyone who is interested in participating on the development and refinement of the ultimate pitch. All you need to get started is an idea – and no idea is too grand or too good to be true! Pitch it and see where it can lead you!

To help you formulate the pitch for the competition, we offer a pre-competition program for anyone interested in pitching at the competition. The program is optional, but most people including business veterans find it helpful, so we highly recommend you take advantage of our help.
